About Kristin
Kristin is a UI/UX designer with an uncommon foundation.
Before moving into design she spent over a decade as a psychiatrist, helping people navigate complex emotions and big decisions, skills that now show up in the way she listens, asks better questions, and builds thoughtful, user-centered experiences.
Kristin built her foundation in UI/UX design through an immersive, mentor-guided program where she led end-to-end projects that explored everything from mindful scheduling to freemium upgrade messaging. Each one gave her the chance to dig deep into research, iterate with intention, and create designs that feel clear and supportive.
She’s especially drawn to projects in wellness and social impact, spaces where good design can genuinely improve someone’s day. Kristin cares deeply about designing with empathy and purpose, and about working with teams that do the same.
Kristin lives in Chicago with her husband and their two pups. She enjoys creative projects like knitting, digital art and dabbling in interior design. She’s always up for treasure seeking at a flea market or engaging in general silliness.
